Submissions do not have to be art - it can be a snippet of writing, it can be a URL link or QR code link to your music, it can be a cool graphic you made just for this! You can gush about your fursona, your friends, why you love being furry or involved in the subculture!You can make your page in Canva, Photoshop, whatever! then add it or @ me to add it in. You SHOULD be able to edit directly in Canva with the link without having to create an account, but I don’t know if there’s any restrictions on that. But don’t feel like you HAVE to use Canva, you can make your page however you want (even traditionally and then scan it and send it to me or whatever!).Each page is 5.5 x 8.5 - a half letter page.I'll do final formatting so don't fuss too much over that. Take into consideration that printers have a 0.25" margin if your page has size-sensitive content.Feel free to claim your pages. multiple submissions are okay, just not more than 4.Two-page spreads are okay, as well, just leave a comment of what pages go together so I can be sure they look correct when printed! You're able to name pages in Canva - just click the 'Add page title' next to the page number.Distributing free of cost, everyone gets a PDF if they want to print their own for themselves or friends - print some out and leave them around your town or in Little Free Libraries and cool artsy places!As long as the page count doesn't get too out of hand (40 individual pages = 20 pages in a booklet, that's about the max!), I'm happy to print some in full color and mail you a few, as well! Reach out to me if you'd want that~You're welcome to submit anonymously or under a pseudonym, if you want! Just leave something so I know page(s) #WHATEVER are by so-and-so.

do i need to be accepted first?

Nope! There's no applications! As long as your submission(s) don’t break the guidelines, feel free to add it in (or reach out to me so i can slap it in the document).

what do you mean by ‘tasteful nudity’?

I’m trying to keep the zine PG-13, give or take, overall. Non-sexual nudity is totally welcome, but titillating nudity is probably pushing it. The broad goal of this zine is for it to be printed and shared freely. I wouldn’t mind doing a fully NSFW zine later on, if there’s interest!If you find you’re not mature enough to engage with that, or that you’re not comfortable having your work alongside nude content, you’re free to make the choice not to contribute.

if i print my own copies, can i sell them?

If you take the time + money to print and fold and staple some copies to sell at in person events, i don’t think there’s anything wrong with you recovering that labor/money spent and making a few bucks for yourself, honestly. Keep within the spirit of the thing, hype up your contribution AND everyone elses’ that your submission is alongside!If you prefer to donate to a charity or something, that's totally cool, as well! I have issues of the zine as PWYW on my Ko-fi and whatever I get from that goes towards printing more copies and the icey coffees that keep me going.
